It’s common in our salons to have women with short crops and men with longer hair. Some shorter haircuts can often require more time, skill and precision than longer haircuts.

Where it All Began
We’ve been on the hairdressing scene for a good while now and we like to think we’ve got a lot to be proud of. First established here in Gloucestershire over 40 years ago, we’ve celebrated numerous award-wins in our time so far; winners in the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards twice, UK winner of the world-renowned L’Oréal Colour Trophy and five-time winners of the Wales & Western L’Oréal Colour Trophy (to name just a few). Our work has graced the pages of Vogue, Marie Claire and fashion magazines in over 30 countries worldwide and our expert team regularly works on the catwalks of London, New York, Paris and Milan fashion weeks; as well as the prestigious Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
Mark Blake heads up the team here at his namesake salons, bringing an impressive 40 years of hairdressing experience to the mix. With over 40 years of hairdressing experience, Mark decided to create a new salon concept that would blend the expertise, quality and style he’s become known for to deliver the very best in hair care experiences to clients. As well as being an award-winning stylist, Mark is an internationally-recognised Harley Street trichologist. He also regularly visits salons across Europe to deliver training in haircare technique and customer service; an expertise he’s instilled in each and every member of the Mark Blake® team.
